Privacy Policy

This policy explains how DrBuild LLC ("DrBuild", "we") handles information when you use DrBuild Tools at drbuild.net (the "Service").

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We use them only to sign you in and show who is signed in. We store them in an encrypted session cookie in your browser; we do not keep a user database.
• Documents you scan. Invoices, receipts and other files you add to our tools are processed entirely in your browser. They are not uploaded to DrBuild's servers.
• Results saved in your browser. Extracted data (vendors, dates, line items, totals) is saved in your browser's local storage so it is still there when you come back. You can delete it at any time with "Clear Results".

Google Drive (optional)

If you choose "Connect Google Drive", we ask Google for the drive.file permission. This lets the Service create and update only the files and folders it makes for you. It cannot see or change any other files in your Drive. With this permission the Service:

• creates a "DrBuild" folder in your Drive with a ledger spreadsheet;
• adds a row to that spreadsheet for each document you scan;
• uploads the original document you scanned into that folder;
• reads that spreadsheet back so your results appear on any device.

These requests go directly from your browser to Google. The access token Google issues lasts about one hour, is kept only in your browser's memory, and is never sent to or stored on DrBuild's servers. You can disconnect in the tool at any time, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Files already created stay in your Drive until you delete them.

DrBuild's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models, and no person at DrBuild reads your Google data.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect sign-in against forgery. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your information with third parties. The Service is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver the website.

Your choices

• Sign out at any time from the menu.
• Delete results saved in your browser with "Clear Results" or by clearing your browser data.
• Disconnect Google Drive in the tool, or revoke access in your Google Account.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
